Plumbing

We’re stepping into a build that is new with washer/dryer hookups (although we continue steadily to search for the proper destination to purchase). The landlord states we must work with a licensed plumber to link a washer and dryer, which seems overkill for me. Any ideas on exactly just exactly what this can price?

I have to decide if i will challenge them or perhaps not.

I simply purchased a group from Sears. Washer install comes totally totally free with delivery, and I also paid $180 for electric dryer installation (we’re stacking them and there is some extensive venting to run, plus i recently want to buy done).

If you’re purchasing a fresh set, the shop where you purchase it’ll have installers. That said the people from Sears whom installed our dryer and washer had been pretty hopeless.

The landlord shall provide a washer/dryer for $50/month, or we could provide ourselves together with approval. I’d choose to purchase a group for the much, however them connected if I have to pay $180-$200 to have. But he slipped when you look at the plumber that is licensed — I’m not sure if that’s simply being extremely careful on their component or even influence us to lease them from him.

He is apparently attempting to protect himself whenever possible — but has decided to drop various other clauses therefore is probably being reasonable about any of it.

I’ve challenged re: the christianmingle login washer/dryer, and I also think our company is agreeing he will have his maintenance folks or super check to make sure it looks OK that I can make the connections and.
